Wedding season is here.

And just like that, it’s back again… Here it is: wedding season, returning in full force. While I’m genuinely happy to be photographing weddings again, each season brings its own set of challenges. Two I deal with regularly are social burnout from meeting so many people week after week at events, and the physical toll of long days—carrying heavy equipment, standing on my feet, and moving constantly takes a lot out of you. I like to think that with every year I get a little better at managing both the social and physical sides of the job, but I’m always open to improvements.

If anyone has recommendations for the best shoes to wear during a wedding day, please share — I’m all ears :)
